Because it is so natural and undiluted, the level of alcohol differs between bottlings, and so labels are printed specially for each batch. The pure clear spring water from the Cooley Mountains united with the peated malted barley give the Connemara Cask Strength a rare flavour. Slowly maturing for long years in oak casks, the natural ingredients and traditional distilling methods employed by Cooley Distillery create a whiskey, which is simply spectacular. Colour: Pale yellow colour. Nose: A strong and concentrated aroma of peat emerges from this unique Irish Cask Strength Whiskey amplifying in intensity when it reaches the nostrils. Taste: A very strong aggressive start with an enormous peat surge in the middle.
