A heathery malt, prized by blenders. Refreshing aroma of grass, heather and sandalwood, developing sweeter notes of malt and spice. Its texture is seductively smooth, with a medium body and a long, spicy finish. Founded by a local publican and his friends in 1876, the distillery stands in the valley of the Lossie, south of Elgin, and is perfectly placed to take advantage of the pure waters from the nearby Mannoch Hills.
