Colour: Dark gold. Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose:Sherry wood with ripe fruit - apples, pears. Hints of toasted malt with some leather and hessian. A touch of heather honey. Palate: Smoky with rich sherry elements. Earthy and spicy with moss and other green leaf notes. With water: Nose: Treacle and toffee sweetness with dried fruits dates and figs. Floral aromas - rosewood and lavender. Palate: Smoky with hints of cloves and cinnamon. Rich sherry, fruitcake - Christmas cake. Body: Rich. Finish: Slightly dry with hints of sherry. Cask Type: First fill & refill sherry casks. Style: Strong sherry influence, with rich/oily character.
